Life Cycle Costing

Course Code: LCC

COURSE INFO

Kirk & Dell I’sola (1981) defines LCC as an economic assessment of an item, area, system or facility that considers all the significant costs of ownership over its economic life, expressed in terms of equivalent dollars.

Decisions should be made on the total life cycle cost of an asset not just the initial cost as future cost are as important as those incurred in the capital acquisition.

The session will be conducted in classroom mode and hands-on software application.
